Acute Glucoma

Clinical Features:

• 1)Red Eye
• 2)Congestion with marked diminished vision.
• 3)severe headache 
• 4)vomiting 
• 5)photophobia 

Ocular examination :

• 1) Pupil: dilated, vertically oval 
• 2)nonreactive to light 
• 3)marked raised 

investigations:

• 1) slit lamp Exam. 
• 2)Gonioscopy 

Rx: 

1. Pilo 1% Eye drop (piocarpine) 

• ১ ফেটা ২ চোখে... ৪ ঘন্টা পর পর 

2. Sonexa 0.1% E/D (Dexamethasone)

• ১ ফেটা ২ চোখে... 12 ঘন্টা পর পর 

3. Timopress E/D (Timolol)

• ১ ফেটা ২ চোখে... 12 ঘন্টা পর পর 

4.Tab.Acemox(250mg) (Acetazolamide)

• 1+1+0...7 days 

5. Tab.Electro-K  (600mg) (potassium)

• 1+0+1......10 days 

6. Cap.Seclo(20mg)(omeprazole)

• 1+0+1.....(before meal)....10 days 

7.Tab.clofenac(50mg)(Diclofenac)

• 1+0+1.....(after meal)....5 days
