Clinical Features:

  • high Fever 
  • Severe malaise 
  • Severe joint pain 
  • Body ache 
  • Severe muscle pain 
  • Rash 


Investigation:

  • 1)CBC 
  • 2)Dengue NS1 (day 1-4)
  • 3)ICT for chikungunya 
  • 4)Urine RME 

Rx:

  • Adequate bed rest
  • Intake plenty of water(2-3L/Day)
  • Cold compression in joint (if pain)

1. Tab.Napa([post id="449" title="Paracetamol"]) (500mg)

  • 2+2+2+2…….3-5 days

2.Tab.Fexo([post id="541" title="Fexofenadine"])(120mg)

  • 0+0+1……........7 days

3.Tab.Lexotanil([post id="475" title="Bromazepam"])(3mg) 

  • 0+0+1……… 7days

4.Cap.seclo([post id="391" title="Omeprazole"])(20mg) 

  • 1+0+1(30 min before meal)….7 days

5. Physitherapy - after recovery from acute conditions if join pain persists 


IF Pt is not improving then referred hospital.
