Protocols

Clinical faetures:

1.Follicular based ictchy papular lesion present on occipital area.

2.most common in male .

3.Age : 13-25 year

4.H/O helmet use (motorbike rider)


D/D:

1.Acne vulgaris 

2.Bacterial folliculitis 


Treatment 

📃Rx:

General Mx:

1.avoid long time helmet use .

2.Avoid repeted hair cut 

Specific Rx:

1.Cap.Doxicap([post id="590" title="Doxycycline"]) ( 100mg) ....0+)+1......1 month 

2.Dermasol ointment[post id="559" title="Clobetasol"]( ...2 times daily .....2-4 weeks 

3.Retin -A ([post id="605" title="Tretinoin"]) CREAM  ...1 time daily .....2 month(night time)


if no response :

inj.Trialon ([post id="606" title="Triamcinolone"])(40mg/ml) intra-lesional ...3 weeks interval ...2-6 sessions 


(Note : Dilalution of Trialon (1:1) Normal saline .example 1 ml normal saline + 1 ml inj.Trialon .

Clean the area & use local anesthesia spray )
